Gas Networks Ireland’s procurement policy is governed by the Utilities Directive.

Competitions for Goods & Services over €418,000 and Construction Contracts over €5,225,000 are advertised on eTenders and the EU Journal. In accordance with this directive Gas Networks Ireland publishes the advertisement on Etenders, including the indicative amount, the duration of the contract and the winner.

The guidelines in the Directive are incorporated into Ervia Procurement Policy Document PD/02 Policy. The policy document also includes guidelines for procuring Goods/Services/Works below the thresholds outlined above.
