Gas Networks Ireland’s annual BHAA 5k race takes place in the Marina
The annual Gas Networks Ireland BHAA 5k Road Race took place on Wednesday 10th July.
Now in its 8th year, the race took the runners around the Marina 5k circuit and finished at the Cork Boat Club in Blackrock Village. Participants also received a Gas Networks Ireland travel mug.
The race was won by Anthony Mannix, Banteer (Leevale AC), with Alan O’Brien, Carrigaline (Eagle AC) in second place and John Shine, Bishopstown (Leevale AC) third.
The first woman home was Carol Finn, Kanturk (Leevale AC), followed by Lisa Hegarty, Mallow (Leevale AC) with Claire O’Brien, Douglas (Watergrasshill AC) in third place.
