Gas Networks Ireland is returning as sponsor of the 5th All-Island Bioeconomy Summit, taking place on 19 May 2026 at Johnstown Estate, Enfield, Co. Meath.
The summit, launched by Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Martin Heydon TD, will bring key stakeholders from across Ireland’s bioeconomy sector, including industry leaders, researchers, policymakers and innovators together. The event will focus on advancing sustainable solutions and unlocking the full potential of Ireland’s bioeconomy.
Gas Networks Ireland is committed to supporting the transition to a low-carbon, renewable energy future. The bioeconomy plays a critical role in this transition, offering innovative pathways to produce renewable gases such as biomethane, reduce emissions and create new value streams for Ireland’s agriculture and food sectors.

The 2026 summit is expected to welcome over 250 delegates and will explore key themes including biomethane development, commercialisation of bio-based products and the replacement of fossil fuels with sustainable alternatives.
