Gas Networks Ireland lends its support in Louth and Meath for buying local this Christmas

All this week people living in Louth and Meath are being encouraged to nominate their favourite shop or restaurant and support local businesses in the lead up to Christmas. 

Gas Networks Ireland has teamed up with the ‘Mollie in the Mornings’ show on ‘Breakfast Show with Seamus and Chris’ on LMFM, to give listeners a chance to win a €100 voucher to be used in a local shop or restaurant for putting a local business in the spotlight. 

Gas Networks Ireland Corporate Affairs Manager, Jamie Gallagher, said:

“We are happy to do our bit to remind everyone to shop local this Christmas. We have over 50,000 homes and 2,000 businesses in Louth and Meath connected to the gas network. It is important to us, now more than ever, to show our support.” 

According to Retail Excellence Ireland, every €10 spent locally is worth €40 in terms of supported employment and communities.  

The competition runs until Friday December 4th.
