Offer valid from 1 August 2022 to 30 September 2022 @ 11:59pm.
1. Eligibility: This offer is open to new customers only aged 18 or over in the Republic of Ireland except employees of Gas Networks Ireland and its subsidiary companies, their agencies and anyone professionally connected with this promotion. This offer also excludes existing customers or homeowners who previously paid and are awaiting construction works (as defined in section 12) to be completed, including those in receipt of a previous quotation or awaiting the installation of a gas meter or gas to be turned on.
2. Gas Networks Ireland : Gas Networks Ireland is a company registered in Ireland under company registration number 555744.
3. Offer: Connect to natural gas from as little as €50* - this offer only applies to a standard domestic gas connection that is within 15 meters of the Gas Networks Ireland existing gas network. Any additional service length beyond the first 15 meters from the Gas Networks Ireland existing gas network will be charged @ rate of €51.31 per meter for excavation by Gas Networks Ireland or its contractors or @ €10.96 per meter for customer excavation (incl. VAT).
4. Availability: This offer is only available to homes/dwellings that are (i) within the standard domestic gas connection area and (ii) within 15 meters from the Gas Networks Ireland existing gas network and which do not require a mains extension and (iii) in receipt of a standard domestic Gas Networks Ireland quotation which is dated from 1 August 2022 to 30 September 2022. Visitors to our website www.gasnetworks.ie between 1 August 2022 and 30 September 2022 who satisfy the eligibility criteria of this offer can avail of this offer by means of entering the relevant Gas Networks Ireland discount code provided.
5. Communication: Gas Networks Ireland may contact applicants via phone, e-mail and/or any other means of communication for the purpose of notifying applicant(s) of closing date for payment of discounted amount of €50 by 30 September 2022 @ 11:59pm.
6. Offer Duration: The duration of this offer will be from the 1 August 2022 to 30 September 2022 only. After this period this offer shall lapse in its entirety. All payments must be made to Gas Networks Ireland either online or via its dedicated Call Centre before 11:59pm on 30 September 2022 to avail of the discounted offer price of €50 to connect to the Gas Networks Ireland existing gas network. Gas Networks Ireland reserve the right to halt, terminate or cancel the promotion or offer, including the availing of discounted connections offering at any time during the above availability period and without any prior notice.
7. Responsibility: Gas Networks Ireland does not accept responsibility for late, lost, ineligible or incomplete applications. Responsibility is not accepted for applications invalidated by technical problems beyond the control of the Gas Networks Ireland or problems accessing the website or call centre. All internet connection and/or phone charges shall be the applicant’s responsibility.
8. Applicants’ Details: Details of applicants shall be retained by Gas Networks Ireland for the purpose of this offer. Your details will be used in accordance with applicable data protection legal requirements. By submitting their details applicants accept that their name (first name and surname) and address (county/place) may be used to contact the applicant in future in relation to this promotion. Applicants may withdraw their consent to the retention of such data at any time by declaring such withdrawal to Gas Networks Ireland by emailing dataprotection@gasnetworks.ie

10. Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gas Networks Ireland excludes all liability whatsoever to applicants in connection with the promotion. Gas Networks Ireland shall not be liable to the other Party for any loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, loss of interruption, punitive or exemplary damages or any indirect, consequential or incidental damages.
11. Amendment of Terms and Conditions: Gas Networks Ireland reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at its sole discretion and without notice.
12. Applicants who avail of this offer must be connected to the existing gas network and consuming gas within 6 months from 30 September 2022 otherwise Gas Networks Ireland may refund their payment and cancel all works associated with same, provided no construction works have commenced or been completed (e.g. the laying of the service gas pipe) -or- the applicant may be liable for 100% of the capital costs associated with constructing their connection if construction works have commenced or been completed, e.g. the laying of the service gas pipe which is calculated on the following basis; connect to existing gas main in road, footpath or grass/soft ground and lay complete 32mm service pipe up to 15 meters in length in grass/soft ground, grass/soft ground to be backfilled with crushed stone, footpath and/or roadway.
13. Applicants should not install a gas boiler or carry out any associated internal or external pipework at their domestic premises until Gas Networks Ireland has fully completed the gas service connection to an applicant’s property at the proposed meter location and notified the applicant that this has been completed.
