Gas Networks Ireland is the business division of Ervia which is responsible for the construction, operation and maintenance of the transmission and distribution networks used to transport natural gas.

2.1 This Service displays ROI assets only. The contents of this Service, including all maps, text, images, brands and trademarks is, unless otherwise specified, protected by national and/or international intellectual property laws, and is owned by Gas Networks Ireland or its suppliers. You are granted temporary, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited access to view and download on any single computer a reasonable number of copies of the contents of this Service. You may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute, by any means or in any manner, any material or information on or downloaded from this Service including but not limited to maps, text, graphics, messages, code and/or software. You acknowledge that you do not acquire any ownership rights by downloading copyright or other material. All rights not expressly granted by us in these TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE are hereby reserved. If you breach any of these TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE, your authorisation to use this Service terminates and you must immediately destroy any downloaded or printed materials.
2.2 You also understand that Gas Networks Ireland cannot and does not guarantee or warrant that any material available for downloading from this Service will be free from infection, viruses and/or other code that has contaminating or destructive properties. You are responsible for implementing sufficient procedures and virus checks (inducing anti-virus and other security checks) to satisfy your particular requirements for the accuracy of data input and output.
3.1 In accessing this service, the User accepts that information messages and electronic mail passing over the Internet may not be free from interference by third parties. Consequently, Gas Networks Ireland cannot guarantee the privacy or confidentiality of any information relating to the User passing over the Internet.
3.2 Users accept that, when using this Service, the onus is on them to centralise their area of interest within the map, to ensure that the map covers all of the intended excavation area and to ensure that the map is printed to the appropriate scale.
3.3 Users shall be responsible for the content of all communications to this Service, including its lawfulness, truthfulness and accuracy. Users must ensure that all such communications to this Service, whether by e-mail or otherwise, are free of all viruses, trojan horses, logic bombs, time bombs, worms or any other computer programmes which could prejudice the normal and proper functioning of this service or which would do anything which if done by the user would be a breach of these TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE.
4. Online Materials
4.1 Where content published on this Service is supplied by third parties, you understand that Gas Networks Ireland does not control or endorse such content in any way. Any maps printed using this Service should be in A3 landscape format and in colour. All content which is offered by third parties that are not affiliated with or otherwise connected with us, is published in good faith but we do not accept responsibility for the accuracy or otherwise of such contents (whether published on or offline) and the use of such content. You assume total responsibility and risk for your use of this Service and use of all information contained within it. This Service and all information contained within it should not be relied on for accurate distance or depth of cover measurements of the gas distribution and transmission network.
4.2 Those who visit this Service from locations outside of the Republic of Ireland do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws. If use of this Service and/or viewing of it, or use of any material or content on this Service or services are contrary to or infringe any applicable law in your jurisdiction(s), you are not authorised to view or use this service and you must exit immediately.
5. Availability of this Service
Gas Networks Ireland will try to make this Service available but cannot guarantee that this Service will operate continuously or without interruptions or be error free and can accept no liability for its unavailability. You must not attempt to interfere with the proper working of this Service and, in particular, you must not attempt to circumvent security, tamper with, hack into, or otherwise disrupt any computer system, service, web site, router or any other internet connected device.
You agree to indemnify us and keep us indemnified (including our directors, agents, servants and employees) against all losses, costs, charges, demands, proceedings, damages, actions, expenses and claims howsoever incurred by us as a result of your use of this Service or a breach by you of any of these TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE.
7.1 Gas Networks Ireland may alter these TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE from time to time and post the new version on this Service, following which all use of this Service will be governed by that version. If the need arises, we may suspend access to this Service, or close it indefinitely. Any of the material on this Service may be out of date at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update such material. You must check the TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE on this Service regularly.
7.5 Users agree that if their intended excavation is within ten (10) metres of the Transmission Network, that excavation work must not proceed until Gas Networks Ireland has been consulted by phoning 1850 42 77 47. If Users have any doubt in relation to this they understand that they are obliged to contact Gas Networks Ireland.
