Siteworks Fitter
The Asset Operations function within Gas Networks Ireland is responsible for the construction, operations and maintenance of the Transmission and Distribution networks, executing all field work safely and efficiently in line with all relevant legislation, standards, industry codes and practices. The Services Team within Service Delivery is responsible for managing all meter related work such as customer connections and relocations, meter maintenance, replacement, and decommissioning. Reporting to the Siteworks Supervisor, the Siteworks Fitter will conduct all work in the field including customer connect/relocate, maintain, replacement, and decommission. The siteworks fitter will use Maximo, Click and Syclo applications to manage their end to end work process.
Service Management Analyst
The Service Management analyst will be part of the IT team within GNI’s Business Services pillar which is an integral part of the organisation providing operational, and customer-focused IT services. These services include solution delivery, service management, and infrastructure & operations management. These services are provided through a combination of in-house resources and external service providers. Reporting to the Incident, Problem & Change Management Lead, the Service Management Analyst has responsibility for providing quality IT Support services to the GNI organization and will support some of the key Service Management Processes of the team; the Incident & Problem Management process; Change Management process; the Change Management Board process. The Service Management Analyst may be asked to support the following processes: Customer satisfaction monitoring; Continuous Improvement initiatives; Field Force Mobility support within Service Management.
C&I Technician
The Asset Operations function within Gas Networks Ireland is responsible for the construction, operations and maintenance of the Transmission and Distribution networks and executing all field work both safely and efficiently in line with relevant legislation, standards, industry codes and procedures. Applications are now invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of C&I Technician.
Project Manager
Reporting to the Business Delivery Manager, the Project Manager has responsibility for the management of a Business Development project portfolio and the end to end delivery of projects within the portfolio. This role requires strong project management and team/people management skills.
Project Engineer
Reporting to the Business Delivery Manager, the Projects Engineer will coordinate collaborative projects both with external stakeholders and internal departments, and will assist in the development of business plans and assessments and support the development of Business Delivery in Gas Networks Ireland.
Commercial Demand Analyst
The Commercial Finance area sits within the Finance function within Gas Networks Ireland and is responsible for forecasting demand and revenues including large customer accounts including Corrib, managing the relationship with the CRU and UR and other parties in relation to billing services and tariff setting and revenue management. The Revenue Reporting Team within Commercial Finance is responsible for all aspects of demand and revenue analysis including forecasting and reporting. Reporting to the Senior Revenue Analyst, the Commercial Demand Analyst has responsibility for performing short and long term forecasting of system commercial utilisation. The role will work closely with the Network Analysis and Strategic Plannings area to develop a view of the likely system requirement through-put and product utilisation.
Safety Systems Engineer
The Health and Safety team within Gas Networks Ireland provides day to day support, advice, measurement and assurance to the Gas Networks Ireland business covering a diverse range of gas and non-gas related activities, including capital and operational projects and programmes. The HSQ team is responsible for the management of the ISO45001 element of our Integrated Management System. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, the Safety Systems Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of the Health and Safety elements of the overall Integrated Management System (IMS) and monitoring Gas Networks Ireland and its contractors’ compliance against organisational and legal requirements. The successful candidate will, in conjunction with other Safety Team members, act as the central point of contract for day to day support and provision of Health and Safety information to Gas Networks Ireland staff and stakeholders.. They will also assist with development and rollout of Gas Networks Ireland Health and Safety initiatives as required and assist the Health and Safety Manager in doing so. The role requires a proactive approach to Health and Safety, encouraging and coaching the wider organisation whilst promoting a positive safety culture. The role requires oversight of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man regions and as such requires periodic travel.
