Process Safety Manager
The Health, Safety, Quality, (HSQ) function within GNI is responsible for the ongoing management and enhancement of the Safety and Quality management systems to best in class standards. This is achieved by focusing on all aspects of occupational and process safety, quality, and risk management. Reporting to the Networks Safety Manager, the Process Safety Manager will be responsible for the management and enhancement of the Process Safety Frameworks within GNI. The Process Safety Manager will work closely with the business to ensure that GNIs legislative and license requirements in relation to gas and technical safety in multiple jurisdictions are fully met. The role will cover both Transmission and Distribution assets across the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland. They will manage a team of technical personnel, providing monitoring, assurance, technical advice and support on process safety (including third party damage prevention), and ultimately ensuring that safety remains a core value and the top priority for Gas Networks Ireland.
Senior Asset Engineer- Installations
The Asset Strategy team within Asset Management is responsible for the strategic development of both the transmission and distribution gas network. Asset Strategy is responsible for identifying and defining the policies and strategies related to the serviceability and performance of the Network. Reporting to the Asset Manager for Installations, the Senior Asset Engineer will develop policies, strategies and plans to meet safety, regulatory and business requirements while maximizing and sustaining the value of the assets.
Customer Contact Manager
The Customer Contact Manager will report to the Customer Care Manager within the Customer and Communications function ensuring the customer focus is delivered in all activities. The responsibility of the role covers the management of the GNI Contact Centre. The relationship with the outsource Contact Centre partner is a key responsibility of the job to ensure maximum value is derived for GNI from the contract and that customer service is delivered to the highest possible standard. Customer service initiatives should be identified which will improve customer satisfaction and reduce complaint volumes.
Accounts Receivable & Reconciliations Manager
The Data Competency and Financial Support Services deliver centralised ownership and oversight of activities which manage, measure and improve GNI’s data. The Data Competency and Financial Support Services advise on the governance, design and management of data, monitor resulting data quality and manage the transaction services for Gas Networks Ireland (Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable). Reporting to the Transaction Services Finance Manager, the AR & Reconciliations Manager is responsible for managing and leading the AR & Reconciliations Team. Responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective administration of all GNI bank accounts/cash balances and Accounts Payable payments. The role also includes responsibility for overseeing the Accounts Receivable process on behalf of Gas Networks Ireland.
Junior Telecoms Engineer
This is an entry level position, it would suit a recent graduate or someone with 6-12 months experience. Reporting to the Network Manger, the role will encompass several engineering remits within Aurora’s Telecommunications Business Processes. The successful candidate will support aspects of the fibre network from design, planning and fibre records; to maintenance, network audits and improvements. Work will include office and field assignments. The successful candidate will also work closely with members of wider team that have also been assigned tasks related to the fibre network. As fibre is our only product, pricing and tender responses will form party of duties, supporting the business in these areas. Initially this will require fibre design distances, route definition, customer record set-up, and template population to support the business. There is an opportunity in the team to expand the role and for the individual to gain valuable experience in a professional technical and business environment. There is a requirement to act as delegate for the Network manager for meetings and leave cover.
