The Emergency Dispatch Team within Asset Operations is responsible for dispatching emergency work, providing technical support to the field during emergencies and handling emergency calls on the 1850 20 50 50 Line. Reporting to the Emergency Dispatch Supervisor, the Emergency Dispatch Support role is responsible for ensuring the national emergency rota is up to date and all changes recorded, monitoring and updating response work orders as required, creating and monitoring both Maximo, GIS and Business Objects reports as required. Providing administrative support to the Emergency Dispatch Team.
Reporting to the European Affairs Manager, this position will involve active participation in a number of key strategic working groups at a European level to ensure that Gas Networks Ireland can influence and monitor European developments accordingly. The jobholder will work with the European Affairs Manager to ensure that Gas Networks Ireland activities and interests within Europe are represented and adhere to regulatory and legislative requirements.
Reporting to the Design Services Manager, and working across internal departments, the Design Safety Assurance Lead will ensure Project Supervisor for the Design Process (PSDP) and Principal Designer (PD) responsibilities are fulfilled in accordance with the latest Construction Regulations in Ireland and Scotland/Northern Ireland respectively.
