Senior Future Networks Engineer
The Asset Management function within Gas Networks Ireland is responsible for optimising the return from the asset portfolio. Asset Management identify, plan and develop investment programmes while achieving an optimal balance between customer requirements, asset efficiency and risk. Asset Management considers the financial and regulatory effects of the proposed investment strategies. The Future Networks team within Asset Management is responsible for the long-term development of both the transmission and distribution gas network. Future Networks is responsible for development of the Network ensuring operational flexibility is sustained to maximise performance of the Network.
Materials & Logistics Supervisor
The Asset Operations function within Gas Networks Ireland is responsible for enabling efficient and customer focused work delivery by providing shared work management services across functions, delivering optimised levels of performance in workflow coordination, scheduling and dispatch, customer interfaces, clerical and mapping support. The Logistics Team within Asset Operations is responsible for ensuring that all jobs and projects have the necessary materials to proceed with execution. Reporting to the Stores Manager, the role of Materials & Logistics Supervisor is responsible for the coordination of all project and operational material related activities, reporting and liaising with various departments, suppliers and contractors
Work & Asset Management (WAM) Applications Analyst
The IT team within Gas Networks Ireland is an integral part of the business providing operational, and customer-focused IT services. These services include solution delivery, service management, and infrastructure & operations management. These services are provided through a combination of in-house resources and external service providers. Reporting to the WAM Applications Lead and working as part of the WAM Applications Team, the WAM Applications Analyst will help with the IT operation and support of WAM applications and the delivery of changes to those applications. The main systems falling under the remit of the WAM Applications Lead role include IBM Maximo, Peacock Fingertip, Click Scheduler, Trimble Unity, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and other miscellaneous applications.
Work & Asset Management (WAM) Applications Lead
The IT team within Gas Networks Ireland is an integral part of the business providing operational, and customer-focused IT services. These services include solution delivery, service management, and infrastructure & operations management. These services are provided through a combination of in-house resources and external service providers. The WAM Applications Lead reports to the Utility & Finance Applications Manager and manages the support and delivery of changes to the applications under the WAM Applications Team’s remit. The role requires strong experience of leading teams in maintaining and enhancing enterprise class applications. The main systems falling under the remit of the WAM Applications Lead role include IBM Maximo, Peacock Fingertip, Click Scheduler, Trimble Unity, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and other miscellaneous applications.
Siteworks Fitter
The Asset Operations function within Gas Networks Ireland is responsible for the construction, operations and maintenance of the Transmission and Distribution networks, executing all field work safely and efficiently in line with all relevant legislation, standards, industry codes and practices. The Services Team within Service Delivery is responsible for managing all meter related work such as customer connections and relocations, meter maintenance, replacement, and decommissioning. Reporting to the Siteworks Supervisor, the Siteworks Fitter will conduct all work in the field including customer connect/relocate, maintain, replacement, and decommission. The siteworks fitter will use Maximo, Click and Syclo applications to manage their end to end work process.
