Certain activities carried out by Gas Networks Ireland require compliance with the European Union Utilities Procurement Directive – Directive 2014/25/EU. Gas Networks Ireland adopts different procurement approaches, depending on the monetary value of the contract.
Contract with a monetary value above the procurement threshold level specified by the Utilities Directive 2014/25/EU are advertised through the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU). Prospective suppliers and contractors are advised to regularly review the eTenders website to view future tender competitions.
For all other contracts below the threshold level, Gas Networks Ireland seeks competitive tenders/quotations from a minimum of three suppliers, unless otherwise stated in our procurement procedures.

Ref:17/222- Derryhale AGI Phase 2 Construction Works
GNI (UK) Ltd. is undertaking a competitive tender process to award a contract to meet the following requirements:
The construction of a gas connection at Derryhale Above Ground Installation (AGI), near Portadown, Co Armagh. The connection will consist of approximately 40m of 250mm diameter pipeline connecting to the AGI pipework and extending to the AGI boundary fence. The connection will feed an adjacent AGI being constructed by others.
