Reporting to the Fibre Manager, the Network Planning Engineer will support the development, design coordination, and optimisation of Aurora Telecom’s fibre network.
The role will encompass activities across network planning, fibre design support, route definition, and fibre records management, while ensuring alignment between planning outputs and detailed network design standards.
The successful candidate will contribute to both technical and commercial processes, including feasibility assessments, pricing support, and tender responses. This will involve activities such as fibre route analysis, distance calculations, capacity checks, and customer record setup.
The role involves a mix of office-based planning/design work and field engagement, working closely with Design, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams.
There is strong opportunity to grow within the team, gaining exposure to both network design and strategic planning functions in a professional and technically focused environment.
The role may also require acting as delegate for the Fibre Manager during periods of absence. Required to travel all around the country to all areas of the Aurora Telecom Network. A minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required.
