ICS Security Delivery Lead

Reporting to the Security Architecture & Deliver Manager, the ICS Security Delivery Lead is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of all Industrial Control Systems Governance & Delivery related activities. The ICS Security Delivery Lead will manage internal and external technical professionals to deliver the portfolio of Cyber Security projects and activities across the ICS environment; will possess knowledge of regulatory and best practice frameworks such as NISD, IEC-62443, ISO-27001 and NIST; will have extensive knowledge of ICS and Operational Technology (OT) environments; and will ideally come from a utility background with demonstrable leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.

GPRO Analyst

The Regulatory Affairs function within Gas Networks Ireland is responsible for the delivery of Market Operations, Market Development, EU Energy Market Directives, as well as the strategy to deal with ongoing Regulatory compliance. The Regulatory Operations and Regulatory Framework departments are situated within the Regulatory Affairs function.

Reporting to the GasPoint Register (GPRO) and Supplier Ops Manager, the purpose of the role is to support the Manager in the management of the required systems and processes to deliver the GasPoint Register.

Design Delivery Lead – Electrical, Control & Instrumentation

The Asset Delivery function within Gas Networks Ireland is responsible for the end-to-end planning, designing and delivery of GNI’s portfolio of asset development programmes. Encompassing Project Delivery Management and Design Delivery the Asset Delivery function brings together all the technical and project support capabilities needed to take high-level projects and programmes from the Portfolio Office and translate these through from detailed design and planning, to construction delivery and handover to Asset Operations.

Reporting to the Design Delivery Manager, the Design Delivery Lead – Electrical, Control and Instrumentation will lead a team and have responsibility for all aspects of E, C&I design across the gas network. The Design Delivery Lead will complement in-house teams with outsourced engineering partners to deliver the E,C&I designs meeting end-to-end project or programme commitments, ensuring a high-quality design service is delivered.
The successful candidate will have the ability to lead teams, collaborate to deliver designs across cross functional teams, make decisions and embrace change implementing best practice to ensure end-to-end design process delivers optimal design solutions.

Land Management Administrator

The Portfolio Office function within Gas Networks Ireland (GNI) is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for the delivery of all capital and operational work within the organisation, enabling it to make key decisions that will optimise the overall delivery of GNI’s portfolio of work. The portfolio office provides support and oversight in the areas of Investment Planning and Governance, Portfolio Management, Delivery Enablement, Land Management and Statutory Consents, and Commercial Management; whilst also acting as the gate keeper and critical interface between potential investment programmes and commercial opportunities; and the core departments responsible for the delivery, operation and maintenance of GNI’s assets.

Reporting to the Land Management Lead, the Land Management Administrator will be responsible for the day to day activities associated with land and wayleave acquisition by consent and/or Compulsory Acquisition Procedures within Gas Networks Ireland

C&I Design Engineer – Renewable Gas

The Asset Delivery function within Gas Networks Ireland is responsible for the end to end planning, designing and delivery of GNI’s portfolio of asset development programmes. Encompassing the three pillars of Project Delivery Management, Design Delivery and Project Services; the Asset Delivery function brings together all the technical and project support capabilities needed to take high-level projects and programmes from the Portfolio Office and translate these through from detailed design and project planning, to construction delivery and handover to Asset Operations.
Reporting to the Senior Design Engineer C&I, the Design Engineer will have responsibility for the detailed design of renewable gas projects, across the gas Transmission and Distribution network. The Design Engineer will manage all aspects of the design and review design risks associated with outsourced engineering service providers, ensuring a high-quality design service is delivered to the Business. The successful candidate will have the ability to effectively diagnose technical issues and have knowledge of gas related process design. The Design Engineer will work closely with Mechanical Design Engineers, outsourced C&I partners and Technical Assurance function ensuring alignment of the Design Delivery process from end to end to meet overall project or programme timelines.

Senior Process Engineer

The Asset Delivery function within Gas Networks Ireland is responsible for the end to end planning, designing and delivery of GNI’s portfolio of asset development programmes. The Asset Delivery function brings together all the technical and project support resources needed to take high-level projects and programmes from the Portfolio Office and translate these through from detailed design and project planning, to construction delivery and handover to Asset Operations.

Reporting to a Design Delivery Lead, the Senior Process Engineer will have responsibility for coordinating process and functional safety across the gas transmission and distribution network.

The Senior Process Engineer will coordinate across the design department supporting QRA, HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, etc. to ensure a high-quality and compliant design service is delivered in line with the requirements of IEC 61511. The successful candidate working with external service providers will be able to identify potentially dangerous elements of project designs; evaluate the severity and likelihood of related dangerous occurrences; supporting the design of Safety Instrumented System to deliver the required protection, including any maintenance recommendations for the operational teams Operations teams.
