The Sustainability Engineer will be responsible for the identification, development and implementation of initiatives required to drive continuous improvement on all sustainability KPIs and to ensure compliance with all environmental and energy obligations.

Regulatory Affairs Analyst
The Regulation function within Gas Networks Ireland is responsible for the delivery of Market Operations, Market Development, implementation of EU Energy Market Regulations and Directives and both EU and Irish policy initiatives, as well as the strategy to deal with ongoing Regulatory compliance.
Reporting to the Wholesale Market Manager, the Regulatory Analyst will co-ordinate interactions with all Regulatory Authorities and will ensure consultation responses and both internal and external regulatory reporting commitments are delivered. The ability to ensure professional response/interactions with Regulatory Authorities, in all relevant jurisdictions, and with other key stakeholders by building strategic relations will be a key success factor to the role, as will the ability to forge strategic relationships with internal stakeholders.

Senior Project Delivery Engineer – TX Connections
The Asset Delivery function within Gas Networks Ireland is responsible for the end to end planning, designing and delivery of GNI’s portfolio of asset development programmes. The Asset Delivery function brings together all the technical and project support capabilities needed to take high-level projects and programmes from the Portfolio Office and translate these through from detailed design and project planning, to construction delivery and handover to Asset Operations.
Reporting to the Project Delivery Lead (Tx Connections), the Senior Project Delivery Engineer will be responsible for the end to end planning and delivery of Tx New Connections projects issued to their respective workstream by the Portfolio Office. The Senior Project Delivery Engineer will work closely with key internal stakeholders across the Portfolio Office, Asset Management, TDTT, Design Delivery and Project Services teams; to lead and/or support the successful development and delivery of these projects from Gate 2 through to Gate 4.

Safety Systems Engineer
The Health and Safety team within Gas Networks Ireland provides safety support, advice, measurement and assurance to the business covering a diverse range of gas and non-gas related activities, including capital and operational projects and programmes.
Reporting to the Assets and Infrastructure Safety Lead, the Safety Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting the Health and Safety components of the Integrated Management System (IMS) and monitoring compliance by Gas Networks Ireland and its contractors with both organisational and legal standards. Working collaboratively with other members of the Safety Team, the successful candidate will serve as the principal contact for daily support and the provision of Health and Safety information and advice to Assets and Infrastructure, Gas Networks Ireland and associated internal and external stakeholders. A proactive approach to Health and Safety is essential, with an emphasis on encouraging and coaching personnel throughout the organisation in promoting a positive safety culture. The role includes oversight of the regions of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and the Isle of Man, and will require periodic travel. -

Asset Register Analyst
Reporting to the Asset Register Manager the Asset Register Analyst will have responsibility for safeguarding capital projects quality, progression through to closure and the asset register process adherence in Maximo.

Design Engineer – CNG & Biogas
The Asset Delivery function within Gas Networks Ireland is responsible for the end to end planning, designing and delivery of GNI’s portfolio of asset development programmes. The Asset Delivery function brings together all the technical and project support capabilities needed to take high-level projects and programmes from the Portfolio Office and translate these through from detailed design and project planning, to construction delivery and handover to Asset Operations.
Reporting to the Senior Design Engineer (CNG & Biogas), the Design Engineer will have responsibility for the preliminary and detailed design of CNG/RNG automotive refuelling facilities and biogas and renewable gas connections, including oversight of outsourced engineering service providers. The Design Engineer will manage all aspects of the design and review design risks associated with outsourced engineering service providers, ensuring a high-quality design service is delivered to the Networks Business. The successful candidate will have the ability to effectively diagnose technical issues and have knowledge of gas related process design. The Design Engineer will work closely with other discipline Design Engineers, outsourced partners and the Technical Assurance function ensuring alignment of the Design Delivery process from end to end to meet overall project or programme timelines. Sustainability is a key feature to incorporate into the design process to deliver low carbon designs.
