Senior Asset Engineer – Electrical, C&I & Metering – Hydrogen Programme

The Asset Strategy team within Asset Management is responsible for the strategic development of both the transmission and distribution gas network. Asset Strategy is responsible for identifying and defining the policies and strategies related to the serviceability and performance of the network. Reporting to the Asset Manager – Electrical, C&I, Metering and Biomethane, the Senior Asset Engineer – Electrical, C&I and Metering – Hydrogen Programme, will support the development and implementation of hydrogen readiness strategies across transmission and distribution assets. The role will provide engineering and asset management direction associated with hydrogen conversion for the Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (E,C&I) and Metering assets, including future investment requirements.

Project Delivery Engineer AGI Programmes

The Asset Delivery function within Gas Networks Ireland is responsible for the end to end planning, designing and delivery of GNI’s portfolio of asset development programmes. The Asset Delivery function brings together all the technical and project support capabilities needed to take high-level projects and programmes from the Portfolio Office and translate these through from detailed design and project planning,to construction delivery and handover to Asset Operations.

Reporting to the Project Delivery Lead (AGI’s), the Project Delivery Engineer will be responsible for supporting the end to end planning and delivery of specific projects/programmes of work issued to their respective workstream by the Portfolio Office. The Project Delivery Engineer will work closely with key internal stakeholders across the Portfolio Office, Asset Management, Technical Development & Technical Training, Design Delivery and Project Services teams; to drive the successful development and delivery of these projects from Gate 2 through to Gate 4.

Project Delivery Engineer

Reporting to the Systems Integration and Asset Management Manager the Project Delivery Engineer will have responsibility for supporting the end to end planning and delivery of the project and managing driving and delivering their respective workstream as issued by the System Integration Manager and PMO.
