Transparency / data publication

As required by Regulation (EC) 715/2009, the Transmission System Operator shall make public information on technical, contracted and available capacities on a numerical basis for all relevant points including entry and exit points on a regular and rolling basis and in a user-friendly standardised manner. Gas Networks Ireland publishes its data to this website. Separately, a Transportation Networks Monthly Report, approved by the CRU, is published on the Gas Networks Ireland website monthly in arrears.

Transportation Monthly Reports

As System Operator, Gas Networks Ireland is required to publish and make available certain information and reports. Documents published prior to the 1st of August 2015 were published by Gaslink Independent System Operator. The Transmission and Distribution System Operator Licences and responsibilities were transferred from Gaslink to Gas Networks Ireland on that date.

A Transportation Networks Monthly Report, approved by the CRU, is published on the Gas Networks Ireland website monthly in arrears. This report has been developed in compliance with the Transparency requirements contained within Annex 1 Chapter 3 of Regulation EC 715/2009. This report is published using consistent units, in particular kWh (with a combustion reference temperature of 298.15K) for energy content and meters cubed (at 273.15 K and 1.01325 bar) for volume.
